Long day ahead

Today I have a long day ahead of me. So much so that my curious aunties have also taken leave to accompany me!

We'll start off with lunch, then we'll head to Lido to collect my engagement rings. After that we have a meeting with Ivah of Marriott Hotel to finalize everything for this Saturday.

In the evening, we will be going to Emanuel B to meet Elaine. We're doing Deli's measurement of his suit, my first-fitting of the wedding gown and the planning of my evening dress. How exciting ! =)

So much to do!! I also somehow have to squeeze in a trip to Fusionopolis (MDA) and get those licensed stickers because they have classified Final Fantasy Advent Children Blu ray and now we can finally start to sell. Geeez that took about 2 weeks.

BUSY BUSY DAY!

lol

Just came back from movie night with my dearest, and we watched Friday the 13th. My darling covered her face with her palm like 80% of the show, amazing eh?? she will then peek through her fingers to watch the show and shut them tight when scary scenes appear.

Oh btw this show is very very scary haha, good movie to watch with your girl ^^

I am back!!!

I am back from Korea with my girlfriends! We totally shopped until we got broke (me less, they more). But who cares as long as we're happy and had a great time with it.

The girls had no expectations of the shopping in Seoul and we all ended up having to change even more money on the first day itself. oMG. Thats a first for me, I hardly change money in a foreign country much less the first day itself.

We spent a total of 5 nights there, first day we were in Seoul, 2nd day in Everland (rained the whole day, bummer), 3rd and 4th was spent in Jeju island and the 5th back in Seoul. We didn't do much shopping in Jeju as that place is more for sightseeing. We did all our shopping in seoul for that 3 days only and managed to burn a hole in our pockets hahaa!

But it was really fun and we had a great time :)

I missed my anniversary with my dearie but its ok because i'll make it up to him!! :)

Wedding Uppydates:

My wedding is in exactly 1 week time. Omg!!! This whole week will be full throttle for me man. LOts of stuff to settle.

Tonight we are going to Raoul to get Deli's attire and a coat for my dad who insists he wants a new one. hehehe.

I also have wedding favours to finish settling and lots more stuff to do in preparation for next week.

Anyways, I will update further with photos soon!

Happy 9th Anniversary!

Today marked our 9th anniversary being together hehe time flies huh :P I get to know Jaclyn from IRC in #canto channel! haha she was the canto queen back then. i remembered i was only 16 and she is 14/f/sg!! we weren't really close, only casual chatting in IRC with other groups of friends.

It was when she intro a job @ pacific internet cyberguide at ngee ann city outlet, then our relationship started to blossom. she is a very nice girl and always around to help me out during work and also helped to buy food/drinks, and we used to chiong Sparks quite often (lol its only on the 7th floor!)

Anyway we began our love life on 22nd april 2000 5:25am @ boatquay by the riverside, so romantic hor haha!! i won't give out too much detail on that exact moment there but i can remember very very clearly what happened at that time :P

9 years of relationship isn't an easy thing in life nowadays, seriously ask around people you know how many of them are together for 9 years before getting married :Pp of cos there are ups and downs in a relationship but end of the day we must know how to cherish each other and all the happy moments together. throw away all the unhappy things and only keep the happy and memorable ones :)

Finally we are getting married in couple weeks time and this may prove to be a huge turning point in life. there will be more responsiblities and many others things to learn from each other for the years to come. the most important thing is life is to be contented and be able to cherish and love each other.

The last thing i want to say...

I LOVE YOU JACLYN!! ^ ^ Happy 9th Anniversary!! & forever with you ~

ps. how nice she is in Korea now shopping with her girlfriends on our anniversary day??! and i'm alone in singapore typing this!! not fair!!

omG!

8 days more to our 9th year anniversary but 2 weeks and 4 days more till we say I do!!

wow.. its coming so fast. Now is the time to panic and to make sure everything is done.. so much to settle!!

Flowers - check

Photographer / videographer - check

ROM Teadress - check with alterations nearer to the date just in case i lose some weight (ha!)

Pamper day for my ladies - deposit made, check!

Justice of peace (or in our case, Reverend Alvin Chan) - check!

Wedding favours - half done, need to buy stuff for decoration

Last meeting with Marriot Hotel's Ivah Ee to tie in everything - not done yet

Soundtrack for "love songs" CD - not done yet but can be done in a jiffy thanks to my dad's awesome CD burner system that I can't remember the name of.

Wedding Invitations given out - half done, but all informed already.

Make up artist trial - coming up this thursday.

Hmmm looks like I have quite abit more to settle but I should get it done soon. Meanwhile, Arlene (our interior designer) has came up with the sketches for our house. I'm gonna leave the house entirely up to Deli to design. I only request for a nice and comfortable bedroom with a nice (full size) mirror near our toilet and an area to put all my bottles of various required lotions. Hopefully a nice sit-down area where I can do my daily "clean face" routine. Hmmm on 2nd thoughts, due to space constrain, maybe I won't be able to have that.. kekekeke we'll see.

Taipei in a nutshell

We're back! Taipei is literally a land of food. Street food rather as I feel Singapore is more a land of food because of our wide variety.

There is shopping as well but somehow we all didn't buy much. Maybe because we are all kinda spoilt here in Sg already and the price difference is not that much.

Surprisingly, the electronics are not that cheap either. Seeing how most of the popular brands like Gigabyte, Asus, MSI all come from Taiwan, they were not selling it significantly cheaper than SG. Maybe about $10 difference so it was totally not worth it since we wouldn't get the warranty if we bought it there. I think Deli had his eyes set on some stuff but ended up not buying due to the slim price difference. SG is very competitive when it comes to electronics.

We accomplished much over these couple of days, even though it was a more rest and relax kind of trip. We took our time to visit all the "must visit" places that we were interested in and we managed to go to all of them.

Would I go back to Taipei again? Sure. maybe not too soon after, but i'll definitely return with Deli one of these days. He missed out on his mala hotpot which he wanted to go eat, and I feel regret for not finding a restaurant with his mala hotpot on our last day. We ended up eating at Sogo's foodcourt instead due to convenience. So I'll go back to Taiwan to make sure my dearie gets his fix of mala hotpot! =)

All in all, I hope our guys enjoyed the trip. They went Japan last year and Taipei this year. Who knows where we'll go next year but we will try to make this a bonus for all of us every year if we can afford to.

For me, this is the month of travelling. I did Bangkok earlier this month with my sister and my mom... Taipei with the guys and next Saturday I will be travelling to Korea with my girls - Sharon and Shyann. That will be more of a scenic trip as we're going to Jeju island for a 2 night stay as well. I hardly do scenic trips.. most of my travel is more towards entertainment like theme parks, lots of shopping, buying, food etc. So a scenic trip will be great for me right before my marriage.

Rest and relax! :)
